Accupressure

Acupressure has its roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and is often referred to as Acupuncture without the needles! Meridians or channels transport life energy or Chi to all parts of the body. When the Chi is able to flow harmoniously throughout the body a state of balance and good health will follow.

Disharmony or imbalance to the flow of Chi may be caused by physical, mental, emotional or spiritual means and is often manifested by aches or pains.

Acupuncture uses specific points along the meridians to access the Chi and restore Harmony and Balance.

Acupressure can be used as a substitute for Acupuncture to treat many conditions and is an extremely effective therapy in its own right. It is often combined with Shiatsu or Oriental massage to increase its efficacy.
